Jack and his wife, Dottie Simpson were my Godparents. They retired in Santa Cruz County, in Northern California. Jack brought the Marimba Xylophone to our house and he and my Mom worked out a few tunes. My Dad recorded Jack hammering away on the wood bars, while my Mom played the piano. This all took place back in the 1960's. Both he and Dottie were great. Jack spoke of the years working in England and traveling around. It's great to see him performing in the 1940's.
